Background:
Construction work completed (except beach and esplanade services)

This beach, under the APL jurisdiction, was polluted, and the support structures degraded.

The project adopted the following guidelines:

- Construction of a maritime pathwalk;
- Restoration and restructuring of the accessibility of pedestrian pathwalks;
- Artificial filling of the beach, supported by the construction of two groynes and rearrangement of the sand;
- Improvement, modernisation and qualification of the image of the support buildings;
- Requalification and redevelopment of the parking areas.
