The Water Reservoirs being studied fall into the Hidrográfica do Tejo basin. The Reservoir of Sta. Luzia is associated to the River Unhais and the Reservoirs of Cabril and Bouçã are located in the River Zêzere. This Plan aims to safeguard the natural conditions and the compatability of the various activities of leisure generated by the Reservoirs.

The Reservoir of Cabril, with its good accessibility and good access to its water plan, is the one with the best conditions for recreational activities, such as sailing, rowing and windsurf.

The Reservoir of Bouçã, with its reduced size situated in a boxed valley, is the one with the most difficult accessibility.

The Reservoir of Santa Luzia is fortunate to have a beautiful landscape and, with special emphasis to its surrounding dam, also offers facilities for supporting recreational and leisure activities.
