Background:
Started in 2000.

Area of Intervention:
With approximately 12 hectares, it situates in the south of the city of Castelo Branco and includes the Railway Station and the surrounding area.

This Plan aims to achieve the following objectives:

• Renovate the area covered by the railway station of Castelo Branco;
• Construct a big architectural building, encompassing the railway station and other utilities;
• Maintenance of 2 building structures considered to be of interest;
• Creation of an underground passage;
• Road-link connection of Av. Nuno Álvares Pereira and the southern main road of Castelo Branco;
• Creation of new areas of accomodation, commerce and services, with green spaces.
