Background:
Concluded in 1992.

The industrial area occupies an area of 55 hectares, situated at 2 kilometres from Vila de Idanha-a-Nova and has as the purpose of constructing industrial units in the municipal.

The Plan proposes:

- Structural Buildings for the Industry;
- Zone for equipment and support services;
- Protection of a designated green area.

Most of the infrastructures of this Industrial Belt are constructed and occupied with diverse industrial units.
