MASTERPLAN AND DETAILED PLAN OF HERDADE DA PALHETA, REDONDO

Development: Masterplan and Detailed Plan: PLURAL. Project of the golf course: Mackenzie & Ebert.

Background:
Started in 2005. Published in Diário da República on 26 of June 2009.

In a hill with a big farming house typical in Alentejo, situated near Vila do Redondo,a touristic destination is proposed, centred around vine and golf. The main house, built in the 17th Century, will be restored for the construction of a Hotel.

The project includes:

- 1 Golf course of 18 holes;
- Clubhouse;
- 5 star Hotel with 50 bedrooms;
- 5 touristic villages of 4 or 5 stars, with a total of 70.000 m2 of construction area;
- Vineyard;
- Cellar.

The small chapel of São Barnabé, believed to be from the year 1810, will be restored.
