PRIOR INFORMATION REQUESTS OF HERDADE DE VALE DOS REIS, ALCÁCER DO SAL

Background:
Start in September 2007. Prior Information Requests approved on 17 of Setembro 2009.

The total area of intervention, expected at 3.170 hectares, enjoys a priviledged location, near Alcácer do Sal and less than one hour of Lisbon through the A2 high-way.

The project includes 2 hotel establishments, 7 turistic villages with a maximum of 925 units of accomodation, a golf course of 18 holes, a clubhouse, an equestrian centre and a commercial and infrastructural support service centre for sport and leisure activities.

The following aspects are the most relevant to the project:

- Utilisation of a small part of the Herdade (around 27%) for touristic developmen;
- Low occupation density (global construction indice of 0,024);
- Gross construction area: 210.000 m2
- Maximum number of beds: 4.524
