URBAN PLAN OF TERMAS DE MONFORTINHO

Background:
Started in 1990. Finished in April 1992.

The settlement of Termas de Monfortinho is situated in the base of the sierra Penha Garcia, near the Spanish frontier. The residential population is less than 1.000 inhabitants, but has an important amount of fluctuating population.

Respecting the maintenance of the lanscape and environment values and of the agglomeration's characteristics, this Plan argues for a low density occupation in habitational zones, proposing a Civic Centre and an Urban Park.
