With a population of around 12.000 inhabitants, Moreira - Vila Nova da Telha is located in the Western part of the Municipal of Maia.

The location of the Aeroport Francisco Sá Carneiro in its proximities is a determining factor in the network of roads, imposing diverse conditionalities in the occupation of land. Therefore, this Plan proposes an urban structure which aims to secure a balanced approach in the occupation of this territory.
